Spread penalty of Fast Shot won’t matter much if you aren’t shooting from long ranges (which you can actually do with shotguns in this game!). Shotguns have a low firing speed compared to other weapons, and they take a while to load, so you’ll want Fast shot and Rapid Loader respectively.
You’ll be getting more out of standard spread shots if you’re looking to utilize this perk. It’s amazing on fast firing shotguns like the Riot Shotgun, although it’s still good on other shotguns because of it’s decent proc chance.
